Since 2021 I have been creating an outdoor summer exhibition in the center of the village of Oka, visible from July to October. This project is part of the cultural activities program of the Oka Arts and Culture Society (OCAS).

The first exhibition, "Portraits d'ici", explored the theme of the environment through portraits of citizens and organizations of the Deux-Montagnes region. The exhibition talked about the protection of biodiversity, the link between art and the environment, the wisdom of the elders and many other things.

In the summer of 2022, I invited the neighboring community of Kanesatake to take ownership of the exhibition, providing guidance and technical support.

Thus was born the exhibition Onkwehon:we. A collaboration between the Kanesatake Council and Tsi Ronterihwanonhnha ne Kanien'kéha, the Kanesatake Language and Culture Center.

The trilingual exhibition (Kanien'kéha, French and English) highlighted artisanal practices and presented painful subjects such as residential schools and missing Aboriginal women. An important place was given to the revival of the Kanien'kéha language in the context of the declaration of the decade of indigenous languages by the UN in 2022.
